“I brought you only this because I know it’s what you like the most.”

My grandmother said when she returned from one of her trips to the United States loaded with gifts for those of us waiting for her in Puerto Rico. Later, as the great-grandchildren arrived, she brought gifts exclusively for them. Although I have to admit, she always came with at least one of my favorite gifts.

Grandma was more than a grandmother, she was my best friend. She was the first to read my stories (Side note: I love writing, almost as much as I love painting. After being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, it has been an advantage.). Now that Grandma is no longer with us, besides the enormous void, I have to make my own notebooks.

Making my own

So, I prepare the notebooks myself. This new collection is based on my love for writing and my passion for vintage paper, as well as the love my husband and I share for surfing (Neither of us surf, but we really enjoy watching others do it).

The roses on the covers of these notebooks are just a small sample of how much I love painting flowers. In particular, I like to paint blue roses because they are my mom’s favorites. Additionally, the interior sections (there are three for each notebook) are inspired by the collages I am a fan of.

Each design is available in four sizes: 8.5 x 11 inches (letter size) in softcover; 5.5 x 8.5 inches (half letter) in softcover and hardcover; 5 x 7 also in softcover and hardcover; as well as the 4 x 6 inches.

It is important to note that there will only be 15 units available in each size and design. This is with the exception of special orders in large quantities. However, these orders must be made via email (by filling out the contact form) or by text message.
