This 23.5 x 35.5-inch mixed media painting captures the graceful presence of a curvy bride before a blooming Flamboyán tree. I started the piece by adding textured paper to the canvas. This layer created depth and invited a tactile connection with the artwork. Next, I used acrylic inks to shape the background and bring vibrant, natural tones to life. Then, I painted the bride with acrylics, letting each stroke highlight her elegance.
Through the layered paint, you can see fragments of collage, including soft cursive writing. These hidden details give the work an intimate and personal feel. The gown’s delicate folds sweep toward the bottom, while the veil flows gently, guiding the viewer’s eye across the scene.
The red blossoms behind her symbolize passion and vitality, while her peaceful expression conveys strength and authenticity. This harmony of energy and stillness encourages the viewer to pause and reflect. Moreover, the composition blends texture, color, and emotion, creating a moment that feels both timeless and alive.

- We ship works of art exceeding twenty (20) inches in length rolled on their frame slats in a tubular box.
- Paintings less than twenty (20) inches in length are ship in regular boxes according to their size.
- For the time being, the USPS is our delivery service in Puerto Rico and to the USA.
- The pick-up service at delivery point applies only to Puerto Rico, and the benefit of both the client and Arte DJ will be taken into account for it. Coordinate this service by phone, either with a call, a text message, or an email.
