To begin, I layered paper onto the canvas, creating a soft yet intentional base. Then, I applied texture paste to sculpt distinct depth across the surface. Once the paste dried completely, I added delicate cursive stamping. These tiny marks act like whispers of inner stories—quiet but essential.

Afterward, I mixed colorful powders with water, allowing them to flow freely. This stage brought a sense of movement and unpredictability. Instead of controlling the direction, I embraced its fluid rhythm. As a result, the background felt alive and emotionally charged.

For the figure, I turned to acrylic inks and paint. Every brushstroke aimed to reveal her inner strength and softness. Rather than rushing, I let her emerge slowly. The sunflower behind her isn’t just a background—it represents growth, resilience, and choosing light over fear.

More importantly, this piece invites reflection. We often search for beauty in polished versions of ourselves. However, true blooming begins when we pause and accept what already exists. Through this work, I share my own journey of becoming—one rooted in vulnerability and creativity.
